Lil' Nestling was born out of passion and love for mothers and babies.
Firstly, I am a wife and and mother of 3 boys. I started my nursing career many many years ago and I distinctly remember the part of my nursing training I enjoyed the most - working in the maternity ward and later on once I qualified, I loved working in Neonatal ICU.
One thing that is very close to my heart is that we are all on our own life journey and if we can make a positive difference in somebody's life, do it!
Having gone through all the ups and downs of pregnancy, unwanted advice, normal birth & Cesarean Section, breastfeeding (and trying and failing and trying again), I realized much later in my life that there are too many mom's (biological and non-biological) as well as dads and caregivers that are in need of support and guidance.

Lizette is a registered nurse and midwife with over 20 years experience. During her career she worked in multiple specialties, but the area that remains very close to her heart – mother and baby care. With previous experience in maternity ward and neonatal ICU, she decided to return to her passion. Her career took a detour in the corporate world focusing on occupational health. Having identified the lack of support for pregnant women, newborn babies, she decided to establish a private practice to provide this much needed service. Lizette is also registered South African Nursing Council, South African Lactation Consultants, South African Perinatal Educators as well as International Association of Infant Massage Instructors.
